I am an interaction designer and a researcher from Finland. I am currently working at the Ubiquitous Interactions (UIx) research group at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT). I am also continuing my doctoral research at the University of Oulu.
My practitioner and research interests include interaction design, user experience, health informatics and crossmedial interactions, i.e., interactions across multiple applications and platforms. I am in the Graduate School on Software Systems and Engineering (SoSE). My doctoral thesis tackles crossmedial design which focuses on supporting combinatorial use of information technologies.
My previous work experience includes several years of experience in the IT industry as a user interface designer and from the field of education. In addition to research, I enjoy arts, interior design, music, and sports – such as fitness exercise, tennis and snowboarding.
