I'm a user experience professional working at the Ubiquitous Interaction (UIx) group at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT. I'm also carrying out my doctoral work in the Graduate School on Software Systems and Engineering at the University of Oulu.
My practitioner and research interests include interaction design, user experience, consumer health informatics and design of services spanning multiple applications and platforms. I have several years of experience in the IT industry as an interaction designer, researcher and consultant.
Currently I'm on maternity leave until June, after which I will finalize my doctoral dissertation and pass baby care duties on to my husband ;) In my spare time I enjoy arts, interior design, music, and spending time with my family.
